Founded by Jess Bergeron, The Olive Bar grew from a love of hospitality and the belief that the best places are about more than what’s on the plate or behind the bar — it’s the atmosphere, the details, and the reason people come back.

For as long as I can remember, I've been endlessly fascinated by the way service brings the room to life. The way the wait staff moves wth the room, the bartenders dance behind the bar, and the genuine hospitality that makes guests feel valued and understood.
Later, I discovered that not every restaurant lives that love story during service. My path from the back of house at 18 — at the same restaurant where my mom worked — to the front of house at Martha’s on Madison in Hamilton gave me a perspective on hospitality from every side of the room.
That experience eventually led to The Olive Bar: a place to bring together my love of hospitality, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of what makes an experience memorable.
